Meet Dr. Teoman Ermete (Livonia, MI)
Dr Ermete earned his Doctorate degree from the College of Optometry at Ferris State University in 1987, following undergraduate studies at Wayne State University. He attained Diplomate status from the American Board of Optometry in 2014.
He is a lifetime resident of the Detroit Mi area. Dr Ermete joined Suburban Eye Care in 2024, bringing with him over 35 years of clinical Optometric experience.
He enjoys getting to know his patients, to provide the vision correction options that will serve them best. He loves to travel, both here in the states and abroad, where he and his wife immerse themselves in the wonders and beauty of creation as well as cultures different from our own.

We are so happy we decided to enroll our daughter in vision therapy. Before starting the program, s... Show Morehe struggled with reading. Even with support from her teachers and school interventionist, her fluency remained slow. Since completing the program, we've seen tremendous improvement in her test scores, reading level, and—most importantly—her confidence. The therapy addressed not only eye tracking but also other essential skills that have helped her feel more successful in school. I highly recommend this program to any parent, and I especially recommend Suburban Eye Care. The team was responsive to all of my emails, questions, and concerns throughout the process. The program itself was engaging and hands-on, and the staff made it truly enjoyable. My daughter always looked forward to her sessions and never wanted to leave—they made learning fun!
