The Optomap is a device that provides doctors with an amazingly clear image of the retina that greatly aids in early detection of eye related diseases. The instrument collects these images in a quick and painless manner that does not require your pupils to be dilated. Because the pupils don't need to be dilated and the patient only needs to hold still for a few seconds, this is a very attractive choice for small children.
